You may be experiencing difficulties in your life and wanting to talk to a psychologist; however, you may often find it difficult to schedule an appointment. It is not always easy to schedule a time when you have to factor in travelling, limited availability during business hours, and other barriers to accessing professional help.
Don’t deny yourself help – you can schedule a session today via Skype or Phone.
Why choose Zoom or Phone Counselling?
From the 23rd March 2020, the Hon Greg Hunt MP, Minister for Health, has announced that Telehealth can be used for all patients.
This means that Bulk billing will be available on Telehealth sessions as per the Medicare guidelines (i.e., you must obtain a MHCP from your GP for the 10 sessions per calendar year). These items form part of the 10 services allowed per year under the Better Access to mental health care initiative and allow clients who meet the Government’s COVID-19 eligibility criteria to receive services via telehealth and phone. Visit our website for more information. You can also discuss this with Sam, who can help you understand the Medicare Better Access firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be able to set up an online session for you using Zoom, Skype or phone. If you have any concerns or questions about the use of Zoom or Skype please reach out and we will help you to set yourself up for the session.
There are many advantages for you to have sessions via Phone or Skype:
